Common questions
I want to delete my account
In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. The account and all its data are erased immediately. DietCoach and Kaha Trainer share the same account, so this also deletes your Kaha Trainer data.
I already use Kaha Trainer — do I need a new account?
No. Sign in to DietCoach with the same account. Your profile, weight and body measurements are already there.
My expenditure isn't updating
DietCoach learns your expenditure from what you eat and how your weight changes. It updates once the last 7 days have at least 3 days of food logged and a weigh-in; until then it holds the previous value on purpose. Mark partial days as incomplete so they don't drag the estimate down.
A barcode wasn't found
Not every product is in the database yet. Photograph the nutrition label instead and the AI fills in a new food for you to check — or create the food yourself from the label.
The AI isn't working
The AI features need your permission, asked the first time you use one. If you chose "Not now", turn it on under Profile → AI. The free plan includes 3 AI analyses in total; the AI plan includes 15 meal analyses and 15 label reads a day.
The AI got a food or amount wrong
The AI suggests ingredients and grams, and each one is matched to our food database. Tap an item to change the amount, or press and hold to swap it for another food, before you log the meal.
How do I cancel or restore a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DietCoach. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. On a new phone, open Profile → Plans and tap Restore purchases.
The app is in the wrong language
DietCoach follows your iPhone's language and can be overridden under Profile → Language. The change takes effect the next time the app is launched — close it fully and open it again.
I found a bug
